SaaS Solution for SharePoint Online OCR
Overview
Aquaforest Searchlight automatically takes non-searchable Documents such as Images PDF’s, Scanned Image Files and Faxes and convert the files to fully searchable PDF format.
Aquaforest Searchlight365 is the SaaS version of our popular Searchlight solution. Searchlight365 is managed on Azure by Aquaforest and annual fees based on document and page volumes.
SaaS Setup Summary
HOSTING LOCATION
We host Searchlight on an Azure VM in a Microsoft location corresponding to your SharePoint / O365 location (such as East–US or UK South).
Please note that throttling limitations might apply for large volume data traffic.
VM SPECIFICATION
The spec of the VM corresponds to the expected size of the repository in terms of documents under management as well as the number of pages to be OCR–ed on an average day.
LICENSES
Searchlight SaaS includes a subscription license for Aquaforest Searchlight OCR with the same number of cores as the selected
VM.
The size of both, VM and Searchlight license, can be adapted once per year.
Both parties, Aquaforest and the Client will have RDP access to the VM for the scheduling and monitoring of Searchlight.

*The free trial version of Searchlight can be used to run unlimited Audits on your sites which provide a comprehensive analysis of all documents contained including their searchability status, total document and page count.

Often, Corporations have initially a high volume of documents / pages to pass through the OCR process. After this stage, all sites will be fully searchable.
Once that process is complete, the OCR volume is reduced to newly added or recently edited documents. Searchlight SaaS can be flexibly adapted to this process.

FEES
Searchlight 365 is an annual subscription and includes a one–off Onboarding Fee to assist with the initial VM and Searchlight setup.
In all cases, we need to establish the approximate number of documents under management and the average OCR volume.
We have a number of standard tier scenarios which work for
comparatively low numbers of documents.
For larger volumes, we suggest to contact Aquaforest to develop a tailored SaaS pricing model to suit your needs.
