Olympic Torch Relay – Aquaforest’s Offices En Route

Our offices have been buzzing with excitement, the Olympic Torch Relay was passing through Aylesbury,UK, on 9th July 2012. Fortuitously our offices were en route. Our teams joined the crowds to welcome the Olympic Torch, taking photographs and videos to record the event. Many local schools and businesses took time out to watch. Street entertainment was provided from 10am, mainly to keep the schoolchildren amused, worked for us too!

Here are a few photographs and a very condensed synopsis of the event:

I’ll start with the British favourite topic of conversation, the weather. As you will see in the photographs, the weather was overcast but amazingly no rain.

First came the street vendors and street entertainment:

Police Outriders announced the imminent arrival of the Olympic Torch:
